Ana Gonzales, Site Supervisor

My name is Ana Gonzales. I am from South Bend, Indiana. My passion for childcare comes from raising 5 beautiful children who are now adults and being a proud grandmother to 5 wonderful grandchildren. From creating fun and educational arts and crafts as a parent, to developing interactive and engaging activities for my tech-savvy grandkids, my life’s greatest work has been found in childcare. I have also worked with Camp Fire in Goshen, Indiana, as a Program Lead Supervisor and crafted, designed and sold specialty lamps and vases as a stay-at-home mom/entrepreneur. My hobbies include cake baking, homemade cooking, playing the piano, gardening and designing handcrafted artwork such as; portraits, wood-crafting, string art, and pottery. My goals are to continue to live a happy and healthy life, working with children, bringing out their creative and artistic side so they can share it with the world!

Xzavier Gonzales, Program Assistant

HELLO! I’m Mr. Xzavier. I’m 21 years old and from Chicago, Illinois. I’m currently enrolled at Indiana University South Bend in pursuit of a degree in child psychology with a minor in counseling. I worked at a community center with kids for about two years and found my spark for working with youth. I’m eager to learn something new every day and excited to help mold and develop the youth in our programs. I love to play and watch sports, and I also love gaming. I have a passion for nature and animals, and I love chocolates!  I have three younger brothers Ramon (13), Noah (6), and Jakob (4). We do in a lot of activities together and have a great bond! Thanks for taking the time out to get to know me!
