The Phair Trading Post is open twice a day during summer camp - from 11-11:30am during morning free swim, and from 2:15-2:45pm after rest time.
Campers may visit morning Trading Post during free swim if they would like to shop for souvenirs and camp supplies. The Trading Post is stocked with items such as camp journals, water bottles, backpacks, stuffed animals, flashlights, batteries, bug spray, envelopes and stamps, post cards, wristbands, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, pens and pencils. During morning trading post time, food and drinks are NOT available for purchase (it’s right before lunch!).
Campers / parents may make a deposit at the Trading Post upon arrival to camp. Campers are not allowed to carry cash at camp, so this deposit is the only spending money they will have during the week. We recommend a Trading Post deposit of $25-$50, but the Trading Post deposit is OPTIONAL. Trading Post accounts may be created prior to arrival at camp, or during check in using cash or credit. We do not accept checks.
During the afternoon Trading Post time, all campers may choose one sweet item (such as ice cream, popsicles, candy, or soda), and one non-sweet item (such as a bottle of water, pretzels, popcorn, chex mix, cheez-its, or a counselor trading card). There is no extra charge for these items - they are included in the camp fee.
You can also shop the online camp store! This is a great way to stock up on Camp Tannadoonah gear before your camper arrives at camp.
