Camp Fire After School at Sam Adams Elementary

Camp Fire River Bend provides daily before and after school programming at Sam Adams Elementary in Cassopolis, Michigan. The program operates on school-day mornings from 7:30 to the start of the school day, and school-day afternoons from the end of the school day until 6:00pm. We also provide all-day programming (7:30am to 6:00pm) on most Fridays when the teachers have Professional Development days.

Students may sign up for a set schedule, or you can register your child and use Camp Fire for drop-in care. You can change your weekly schedule as needed.

Our After School programs incorporate Camp Fire’s Thrive{ology} principles into our daily curriculum, and are structured in collaboration with the school to ensure that Camp Fire programs complement the participants’ education. Youth will be encouraged to spend their time in ways that align with their passions and unique talents. Our staff will gather youth input to tailor curricula to meet the needs and nurture the Sparks of the youth in the program.

What is the cost?

Students may sign up for a set schedule, or you can register your child and use Camp Fire for drop-in care. You can change your weekly schedule as needed. The cost for regularly scheduled afternoons is $9 per day; the cost for drop in afternoons (not scheduled in advance) is $12 per day. For the 2021-2022 school year, Cassopolis Public Schools have grant funding which allows us to offer the before school program, and the all day programs on Professional Development Fridays at no cost to families.
