One of Camp Fire and Camp Tannadoonah’s defining qualities is our close-knit and supportive community. Our founders had this vision 100 years ago when they planned the very first Wohelo Camp in 1921, which eventually became Camp Tannadoonah. Over the years, we have created a place where youth truly can be their “best me”, discover their Sparks, and be at home. Now, more than ever, we need connection and to make relationships and community a priority. As we celebrate our 100th anniversary this year, we invite you all to come home to Camp Tannadoonah.

Mmm hmm, and come September, Mmm hmm I will remember,
Mmm hmm our camping days and friendships true.

An exciting and fun-filled weekend of events is being planned to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Camp Tannadoonah. We hope you will join us as we gather at Camp to reminisce around the camp fire, sing our favorite camp songs, hike to the Princess Tree, play our favorite camp games, canoe the blue waters of Birch Lake, and recreate the crafts of our youth.

We want to include as many Camp Fire, Camp Tannadoonah, and Camp Kiloqua alums as we can. Former campers, staff, Camp Fire kids, and Camp Fire leaders are all welcome! If you have contact information for friends who attended camp with you, please help us spread the word about this event.

Over the past 100 years, we have served more than 50,000 youth from all over the world! If you ever called Camp your home away from home, we hope you will come home next fall to help us celebrate this milestone

Mmm hmm, and as the years go by, Mmm hmm I’ll think of you and sigh,
Mmm hmm this is goodnight and not goodbye.
